so as many of you know i recently purchased some hefty tuning software for the mazda. I went with the Split Second FTC-1 EMS. It does timing control, knock, air/fuel adjusting, igniton, and erases my stupid MAF and uses an internal MAP sensor for more percise tuning. Im planning on throwing that in withing the next month or two and bringing her up to DB Performance to get tuned.
Also im working on a deal with a guy to sell my SMIC i had custom made so that i can purchase the Corksport power series FMIC kit. With that kit i wont have to worry about heat soak and ill be able to get a larger radiator to fill in the spot where my side mount usta go. I dont know how many of you are familiar with the MSP's but it uses a smaller radiator so the SMIC can sit right next to it. So by using a FMIC i can get a protege 5 wagon radiator which will plop right in and give me better cooling.
Also im planning on getting an AEM wideband 02 to replace my narrow band autometer gauge.
thats about all for this spring, hopefully more to come in the summer. whats everyone else got going on?

Well, i went out and bought a new turbo tonight. It's off of a 2005 evo 8 with about 50,000 miles on it. I bought it for the larger 10.5cm^2 hotside. It creates less back pressure in the manifold by increasing the radius and area on the nozel, less back pressure in the manifold means the motor becomes more efficient and of course makes more power. I also got the guy to throw in a stock 02 housing that I plan on porting in my free time at work. That should net me a few more HPs. With that said, I only need the hotside, the compressor wheel and housing is the same as the turbo currantly on my car, If any one wants to upgrade from your guys baby turbos (hehe jk), its good for 20 psi, Let me know. here are some pics:

Complete? Its about as complete as i need it. Its a straight bolt in, its right off of a 2005 evo, which is very similar to the 2004. I'm pumped. Dyno tune here I come!
