Hey guys, I've got a Evo 8 turbo with a 9.8cm^2 turbine housing for sale. Its a "big" 16G turbo. It has under 50,000 miles on it, and has zero shaft play. Its capable of flowing over 40 lbs/min or 500 cfm of air. The turbo is efficient upto 22 psi of boost. On my 2.0l the turbo was at full boost by 3200 rpm.
From what i have read, this turbo will not work on DSMs.
This would be a great turbo for a custom kit, it is good for over 350 hp.
The turbo is out of my car, and ready to be sold.
Thanks for looking!

im not sure what is needed to make this turbo work, but Ringo, one of the other 4 door members with a REX said that its pretty popular with the subie guys. i would look into it on the subie forms to see what kind of power can be gained and how hard it is to make it work. it is ready for sale, and it came out of a working vehicle, so it should be ready to install.

umm, i think it would be too small, but do the research to find out. If you google the turbos name (TD05HR-16G6-9.8T) you can find its flow rates and flow charts, then you can use that information to see if it would work on your 5.0.
