the three liter the blown up 2.5. can you see what's missing here? lol nitrous ftw finished 3L finished 3L again you can find this picture on the cover of the contour.org 2008 calendar. back in the day. sure miss those wheels currently the car has the following improvements. 2003 3L duratec engine SVT intake manifolds SVT cams MSD dis-4 ignition with two step launch limiter B&M short throw shifter Torsen T2 limited slip differential Poly eurethane roll resistors Custom intake (from a mazda 6) 75MM pro flow Mass air flow. 70 MM throttle body (half shafted) Ford racing spark plug wires (9mm) Focus SVT wheels Eibach pro kit springs new SVT struts Hightowered headlights Spec stage3 clutch, 8LB flywheel. thats about it for now, other than small aesthetics. hope you had fun

it needs some paint love, and boost. now that the motor is fresh, and the trans is built. after i boost it (likely this winter) i plan on doing another forged 3L at 8.5:1 compression with forged pauter rods. that should make it capable to peak just over 400 HP before the oiling issues start.

the turbo route definately. the new kit nautilus performance offers is now all stainless steel and the downpipe is a single 3" where it used to be two 2" that connected into one 3" (for clearance issues)
there is a roots style blower setup still in the process too. i would go that route if it ever gets finished, simply because it would cost less than 1200$ and i could run a eaton M112 and make good power.
